Quasicontraction semigroup
In mathematics, a C0-semigroup Gamma (t), t geq 0, is called a quasicontraction semigroup if there is a constant omega such that | Gamma (t) | leq exp ( omega t ) for all t geq 0. Gamma (t) is called a contraction semigroup if | Gamma (t) | leq 1 for all t geq 0.
