Quadrangular Space

The Quadrangular Space is a space in the shoulder through which the axillary nerve, the posterior humeral circumflex artery and accompanying veins pass. Four muscles define the posterior edges of the space; teres minor on top, the teres major on the bottom, the long head of the triceps toward the spine, and the lateral head of the triceps away from the spine.
