Rat excitation
There was no official designation for this procedure, thus the appellation "rat excitation," which was chosen so as not to conflict with the names of any extant articles. The prisoner was bound face upward to the rack, and an inverted lentiform drum of iron, filled with rats, was placed atop their belly.
