Rama Timber Transport Company
The Rama Timber Transport Company was incorporated in 1868, for the purpose of construction and operation of the Black River & Lake St. John Canal and Portage Tramway, for the sole purpose of moving logs from the Black River (and its tributaries), to the waters of Lakes Couchiching and Simcoe.
