Ravenser Odd
Ravenser Odd, also spelt Ravensrodd, was a port in the East Riding of Yorkshire during the medieval period, built on the sandbanks at the mouth of the Humber estuary. In the 13th century it was a more important port than Kingston-upon-Hull, further up the Humber, and was represented in the Model Parliament of 1295, but as the sandbanks shifted the town was swept away and completely destroyed by the end of the 14th century.
