Red River Meeting House
The Red River Meeting House was the site of the first religious camp meeting in the United States and the start of the Second Great Awakening in June 1800. Good Shepherd Farm, accessed September 25,2006 The meeting was organized by Reverend James McGready (also spelled M’Gready) in Logan County, Kentucky.
