Ralph Bernard Snyder
Born Ralph Bernard Snyder in Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 19, 1920, he started his career in broadcasting in radio stations in Kalamazoo and in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This was interrupted by his service in the Army Air Forces during World War II, in which he was a flight instructor in Florida.
