Regional anaesthesia



Regional anaesthesia, is anesthesia affecting only a large part of the body, such as a limb. Regional anaesthetic techniques include epidural anaesthesia, spinal anaesthesia, brachial plexus blocks, and intravenous regional techniques (Bier block).
