Rassemblement DĂ©mocratique pour le Rwanda
The Rassemblement DĂ©mocratique pour le Rwanda (RDR) was an insurgent group operating in the eastern region of Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo) against the government of Rwanda from 1995 to 1996. It was composed almost entirely of members of the former Rwandan army (ex-FAR) and Interahamwe responsible for the 1994 Rwandan Genocide who had been forced to flee after the mainly-Tutsi Rwandese Patriotic Army (RPA) invaded.
