Rasch model

Rasch models are probabilistic measurement models which currently find their application primarily in psychological and attainment assessment, and are being increasingly used in other areas, including the health profession and market research. Rasch models provide a foundation for the measurement of quantitative attributes and traits on a continuum, based on categorical data derived from interactions between persons and items.
