Regional Transportation Authority
The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is the financial and oversight body for the three transit agencies in northeastern Illinois--the Chicago Transit Authority, Metra, and Pace--which are called Service Boards in the RTA Act.70 ILCS 3615/1.
