Red string of fate
The red string of fate (unmei no akai ito,é‹ĺ‘˝ă®čµ¤ă„糸) (also referred to as the red thread of destiny, red thread of fate and by other variants) is an East Asian belief. According to this belief, everyone is connected to another person by an invisible red string that is tied to the ankle or little finger of his or her left hand (though there are other variants on the legend).
