Targeteer
The targeteer is responsible for identifying critical elements or vulnerable points, estimating collateral damage, identifying effect and weapon required and presenting/submitting targets that meet the Commander's requirements for the operational plan for approval. Once approved, the targets are passed to the unit conducting the operation (squadron, artillery or submarine) for conduct of the strike.
