Tapir



Tapirs (IPA:ˈteɪpər, pronounced as in "taper", or IPA:təˈpɪər, pronounced as in "tap-ear") are large browsing mammals, roughly pig-like in shape, with short, prehensile snouts. They inhabit jungle and forest regions of South America, Central America, and Southeast Asia.
