Tasmania Fire Service
The Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) was created in 1979 through the unification of the State Fire Authority, the Rural Fires Board and 22 urban fire brigades. It is the primary agency responsible for fire suppression and control for the state of Tasmania and it's surrounding islands.
