Tall shirts
Tall Shirts is the name of a country punk/thrash band that enjoyed considerable popularity in the Sydney independent music scene between 1985 and (circa) 1993. Their musical style - a high energy eclectic mix of numerous country/western styles, delivered with outrageous and often X-rated humour - served as a vehicle with which they systematically parodied not only country music, the American South, comic book culture, religion and Australian values, but every level of society in general.
