Tex-Mex cuisine

Tex-Mex is a term used to describe American foods created by or influenced by Mexican-Americans or cuisines found in Mexico, particularly cuisines from the Southwestern United States. A given Tex-Mex food may or may not be similar to foods found in Mexico, although it is common for all of these foods to be referred to as "Mexican food" in the United States and in many other countries.
