Tórshavn () (Danish: Thorshavn,(Norwegian: Torshavn Icelandic: Þórshöfn, Swedish: Torshamn) is the capital of the Faroe Islands. The city is located in Tórshavn municipality on southern Streymoy island and has 19,000 inhabitants.
