Tallaght
Tallaght (Tamhlacht in Irish), after Dublin City and Cork is the third largest urban concentration in the Republic of Ireland. Situated 13 kilometres south-west of Dublin city, at the foot of the Dublin - Wicklow mountains, it was one of the earliest settlements in the country and one of medieval Ireland's most important monastic centres.
