Tray Mountain Tray Mountain, with an elevation of 4,430 feet (1,350 meters) is the seventh-highest peak in Georgia. The boundary line between White and Towns counties bisects the mountain, but leaves the summit in Towns County.
Tray Mountain Wilderness The Tray Mountain Wilderness was designated in 1986 and currently consists of 9,702 acres. The Wilderness is located within the borders of the Chattahoochee National Forest in Habersham, Towns and White counties, Georgia and is managed in the Chattooga Ranger District.
