Tayib Salih
Tayib Salih (*1929 Marwa-Distrikt, Sudan) is an Arab writer from Sudan whose most famous novel, Season of Migration to the North (1968), is a magnificent response to colonialism and its literary adjuncts, notably Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness, Arabian Nights, and Othello.
