Tetri Giorgi
Tetri Giorgi (“White George”) is one of the names of St George, in the eastern mountainous part of Georgia. Many ethnographers claim the name to be a successor of a pagan moon deity and popular mythological warrior Giorgi later identified with St George, patron saint of Georgia.
