Tekle Haymanot I of Ethiopia



Tekle Haymanot I (Ge'ez ተክለ ሃይማኖት, "Plant of religion," throne name Le`al Sagad Ge'ez ለዓለ ሰገድ, "to whom the exalted bows") was (27 March, 1706 - 30 June, 1708) of Ethiopia, and a member of the Solomonic dynasty. He was the son of Iyasu I and Empress Malakotawit.
