The electronic telegraph (the initial lowercase was a marketing device) is the online version of British broadsheet newspaper The Daily Telegraph. Launched at midday on 15 November 1994 at the headquarters of The Daily Telegraph at Canary Wharf in London's Docklands, the site was Europe's first daily web-based newspaper
