Temporal war
A "Temporal war" or "Time war" is a conflict that takes place in multiple time periods, instigated by factions in the future who then travel back and alter history to their own ends; an example of this would be Albert Einstein going back in time to stop Hitler from starting the WW2 as epicted in the computer game Red Alert.
