Teen courts
Teen courts are authorized by law in many states to provide an alternative disposition for juveniles who have committed a delinquent act and are otherwise eligible for diversion. Teen courts are staffed by youth volunteers who serve in various capacities within the program, acting in the role of jurors, lawyers, bailiffs, clerks and judges.
