Taiichi Ohno



Taiichi Ohno (大野 耐一, February 29, 1912 - May 28, 1990) is considered to be the father of the Toyota Production System, also known as Lean Manufacturing. He wrote several books about the system, the most popular of which is Toyota Production System: Beyond Large-Scale Production.
