Tacheng Prefecture
Tacheng Prefecture (simplified Chinese: 塔城地区; Pinyin: Tǎchéng Dìqū; Uyghur: تارباغاتاي ۋىلايىتى / Tarbaƣatay Vilayiti) is located in northern Xinjiang, China. It has a area of 98,824 km² and a population of 892,397 (2000).
