Tenoroon
The bassoon family of double reed woodwind instruments is widely regarded as having only two members, unlike all of the other woodwind families which have a multitude of varieties, the bassoon and the contrabassoon are the only ones in their class. This however is a misconception, for although not widely known, there are at least four members of the bassoon family still in common use today.
