Undrafted
Undrafted refers to when an athlete does not get drafted in a certain sports league's regular draft. If a player goes undrafted (such as Jared Fernandez, a current Milwaukee Brewers pitcher), they become a free agent, which means they are not tethered down by any specific teams or demands.
