United States Air Force Art Program
The USAF Art Program of the United States Air Force was begun in 1950, with the transfer of ~800 works of art from the United States Army. The program expanded to offer artist the opportunity to travel with the Air Force to locations around the world to witness military facilities and excerises for the purpose of recording these events in the form of paintings.
