University of Georgia
The University of Georgia (UGA) is the largest institution of higher learning and research in the State of Georgia. Located in Athens, Georgia, approximately 60 miles north-east of Atlanta, it was the first state-chartered university in the United States, making it the birthplace of the American system of public higher education.
