USS Carter Hall
Two ships of the United States Navy have borne the name USS Carter Hall, named in honor of Carter Hall, an estate of Nathan Burwell, a colonial governor of Virginia, in the lower Shenandoah Valley, near the town of Winchester, Virginia.
