Urdoxa
Urdoxa derives from the ancient Greek, meaning "primary" or "first" doctrine. For Plato and Aristotle, the notion of "doxa" meant "opinion" (for an interesting treatment of the Greek conception of Urdoxa, see Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, What is Philosophy?
