Uday Shankar
Uday Shankar (1900 - 1977) (Bengali: উদয় শংকর) was a world renowned classical dancer and choreographer from India. Born in Udaipur, Rajasthan to a Bengali family with origins in Narail (in modern-day Bangladesh), he was trained in the art in Bombay.
