University of Nebraska at Omaha
The University of Nebraska at Omaha, founded 1908 as the University of Omaha, is the Omaha, Nebraska, campus of the University of Nebraska system, and is the second-largest institution of higher education in Nebraska (after the University of Nebraska–Lincoln). In 1931, the university became the public Municipal University of Omaha, and assumed its current name in 1968 following a merger with the University of Nebraska.
