Upper GI series Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) Tract Radiography - In medicine, an upper GI series consists of a series of X-ray images of the esophagus and stomach (the upper gastrointestinal, or GI, tract). They are all dated to the period 1060-1100 and they were carved in connection with the construction of a road from Hagby to Ed at Edsviken.
