The Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (Spanish: Universidad AutĂłnoma de Santo Domingo (UASD)) is a public university in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Founded during the reign of Charles I of Spain, it is the oldest institution of higher education in America.
