Ullmann condensation



The Ullmann condensation or Ullmann ether synthesis is a variation of the Ullmann reaction, in which a phenol is coupled to an aryl halide to a diaryl ether in the presence of a copper compound. Fritz Ullmann and Sponagel, Chem.
