University Pro-Independence Federation of Puerto Rico
The University Pro-Independence Federation of Puerto Rico (commonly know by its Spanish acronym "FUPI": "FederaciĂłn Universitaria Pro-Independencia", originally "FederacĂłn de Universitarios Pro-Independencia") is an organization of students primarily studying at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), dedicated to the goal of a free, independent Puerto Rico. Most of their views are based on personal opinions rather than an official political statement, although it is known that they are predominantly Socialist.
