Upanishad Brahmam
Upanishad Brahmam was a great saint poet, born in Kanchipuram town of the southern Tamil Nadu state in India. A compatriot and close friend of the great poets/composers of 19th Century carnatic music (South Indian classical music, equated to the music of the Gods) Tyagaraja and Muthuswamy Dikshitar, Upanishad Brahmam often invited them to his house in Kancheepuram for discussions on religious issues and music.
