United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is a treaty offering a uniform international sales law that, as of 2006, had been ratified by 72 countries that account for three-quarters of all world trade. (Notably, the UK is not among the countries that have ratified the CISG, despite being a leading jurisdiction for the choice of law in international commercial contracts.
