University of Douai
Douai (also previously spelled Douay and in English Doway) is a town now in Northern France, straddling the River Scarpe, located in the flat country 13 miles southwest of the Belgium border, 24 miles south of Lille and 112 miles northwest of Reims, 121 miles north-northeast of Paris. Its site probably corresponds to that a 4th century Roman fortress known as Duacum.
