Vernon L. Smith
Vernon Lomax Smith (born January 1, 1927 in Wichita, Kansas) is professor of economics at University of Alaska-Anchorage, a research scholar in the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science, and a Fellow of the Mercatus Center all in Arlington, Virginia. He is an Adjunct Scholar of the Cato Institute in Washington, D.
