Vincent Papa "Vinnie Papa" was born and bred in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens, New York. A noted mafioso and drug kingpin, Papa was an important figure in the famous French Connection heroin scandal and the aftermath NYPD Corruption Scandal which is still considered by many to be one of the most spectacular crimes in New York City's history wherein an approximate $70,000,000 worth of narcotics was taken from the NYPD main property and evidence room to be distributed on the streets by Mafiosi and drug kingpins.
