Veli Saarinen
Veli Saarinen was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the 1920's and 1930's. He won a pair of medals at the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York, earning a gold in the 50 km and a bronze in the 18 km event.
