Lesbian poet and novelist Valerie Taylor (1913-1997) was born Velma Nacella Young and also published as Nacella Young and Francine Davenport. Her publishers included Naiad press, Banned Books, Universal, Fawcett, Womanpress, Ace and Midwood-Tower.
