Volcaniclastic
Volcaniclastic rocks are those rock types of clastic origin composed solely or primarily of volcanic materials. Commonly associated with explosive volcanic activity - such as plinean or krakatoan eruption styles, or phreatomagmatic eruptions - volcaniclastic deposits are commonly formed from air-bourne ash, lapilli and bombs or blocks ejected from the volcano itself, mixed in with shattered country rock.
