Vincent Sheean



Vincent Sheean (5 December 1899 Pana, Illinois - March 1975, Arolo, Italy), born James Vincent Sheean, American journalist and novelist, most famous for Personal History (New York: Doubleday, 1935). The book, a political memoir, was bought by film producer Walter Wanger, and became the basis for Wanger's production Foreign Correspondent (1940) directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
