Vanadyl(acetylacetonate)
Vanadyl(acetylacetonate) or VO(acac)2 is a coordination complex between the vanadyl cation, VO2+, and two acetylacetonate anions, acacâ’. It is used in organic chemistry as a reagent in the epoxidation of allylic alcohols in combination with tert-butylhydroperoxide or TBHP.
